Which insurers sell 2027 Obamacare plans in Miami Beach?
Miami Beach is in Miami-Dade County, where eight companies sell Marketplace (Obamacare) plans for 2027, according to the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation's county table. On HealthCare.gov you will see them as Florida Blue, Florida Blue HMO, Oscar, UnitedHealthcare, Ambetter Health, Wellpoint, AvMed and AmeriHealth Caritas Next. Almost all of these plans are HMOs, which means you stay in the plan's network and often pick a primary doctor. The exception is Florida Blue's non-HMO plans, sold as EPOs, which cost more on average (state rate table).
What does that cost? Florida's own example for 2027 is a single 28-year-old earning $36,000: the average silver plan in Miami-Dade is about $776 a month before help, and after the average tax credit that person pays about $381 (state example). Your price depends on your age, ZIP code, income and plan level, so use the price tool above or ask for a quote. More detail: which insurers sell Marketplace plans in Miami-Dade for 2027.
If Mount Sinai is your hospital, check it plan by plan, and check your Mount Sinai doctors separately: a plan can include the hospital without including every doctor who works there.
New in Miami Beach: French-speaking families and people on visas
Miami Beach has a large French-speaking community: families from France, Belgium, Switzerland and Canada, many of them on visas for work, investment or study, and some who already have a green card. They often arrive with French or international coverage and need to decide quickly whether to keep it, add a US plan, or switch.
The 2027 rules make status the first question. Green card holders can usually get federal tax credits on an Obamacare (ACA) plan if their income qualifies. Most visa holders can still buy a Marketplace plan if they live here, but from January 1, 2027 they pay the full price (KFF). For them, Charlyne compares a full-price ACA plan with international expat plans and the CFE, in French if you prefer. Our guide CFE or US insurance? explains the trade-offs, and the E-2 visa guide covers investors.
Hospitality and restaurant workers on the Beach face the other common problem: income that swings with the season. A careful income estimate keeps you from owing tax credits back at tax time.

Miami Beach FAQ
Which 2027 Obamacare (ACA) plans include Mount Sinai Medical Center?
It depends on the plan, not only the insurer, and it changes each year. Tell us your doctors and we list only plans that include them.
I moved to Miami Beach from France. Can I buy an ACA plan?
If you live here and have a lawful status, usually yes. From 2027, only green card holders and a few other groups get tax credits, so visa holders often pay full price. Charlyne compares options in French.

Miami Beach Community Health Center uses an income-based sliding fee scale. Call 305-538-8835 to check.
