Which insurers sell 2027 Obamacare plans in North Miami Beach?
North Miami Beach is in Miami-Dade County, where eight companies sell Marketplace (Obamacare) plans for 2027, according to the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation's county table. On HealthCare.gov you will see them as Florida Blue, Florida Blue HMO, Oscar, UnitedHealthcare, Ambetter Health, Wellpoint, AvMed and AmeriHealth Caritas Next. Almost all of these plans are HMOs, which means you stay in the plan's network and often pick a primary doctor. The exception is Florida Blue's non-HMO plans, sold as EPOs, which cost more on average (state rate table).
What does that cost? Florida's own example for 2027 is a single 28-year-old earning $36,000: the average silver plan in Miami-Dade is about $776 a month before help, and after the average tax credit that person pays about $381 (state example). Your price depends on your age, ZIP code, income and plan level, so use the price tool above or ask for a quote. More detail: which insurers sell Marketplace plans in Miami-Dade for 2027.
Multigenerational and mixed-status households
Many homes in North Miami Beach hold three generations: grandparents on Medicare or not yet eligible, working parents, and children born here. The family may also mix statuses: a US citizen child, a parent with a green card, a grandparent on a visitor visa. Each person can have a different answer. Children who are citizens or green card holders can often get Medicaid or Florida KidCare. Adults with a green card can usually get Marketplace tax credits if income qualifies. Relatives here on a visitor visa usually cannot buy a Marketplace plan and need visitor insurance.
On a Marketplace application, people who are not applying for themselves do not have to give their immigration status, but the household income still counts everyone in the tax household (HealthCare.gov). Charlyne goes person by person, explains who qualifies for what, and makes sure the whole family's doctors and Jackson North are in the plans you pick.

Is Jackson North Medical Center in my 2027 Obamacare (ACA) plan?
It depends on the plan. Networks change every year. We check Jackson North and your doctors before you enroll.
My child is a US citizen but I am not. Can my child get coverage?

Usually not. Visitors generally need travel or visitor medical insurance.
