Enjoy your retirement in the US — and your trips to France — with peace of mind.
Medicare has its dates, its penalties, and its jargon. We explain it all in French, and build the coverage that keeps your doctors, your medications, and your travel.
Your reality as Medicare approaches
One missed date, a penalty for life.
If you enroll in Part B too late without other valid coverage, a penalty is added to your premium every month, permanently. And some protections are only available at the right moment.
Original, Advantage, Medigap, Part D…
Four letters, dozens of plans, all in English. You choose without knowing what actually covers your doctors and your medications.
Heading back to France? Medicare doesn't always follow you.
Original Medicare generally doesn't cover care outside the US. An emergency during your vacation in France can come entirely out of your pocket, depending on the plan you chose.
Your Medicare coverage, built piece by piece
The right dates
Your enrollment window calculated, to avoid penalties.
The right combination
AARP Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, or Part D: we choose based on your doctors and medications.
Your travel accounted for
We check what each option covers abroad, before you sign.
We don't just send you a quote. We explain it.
Two plans can show the same price. What changes is what they cover for you.
A $0 premium isn't a free plan.
Your questions
“When do I need to enroll?”
Around your 65th birthday, you have 7 months: the 3 months before your birthday month, that month itself, and the 3 months after. After that, every year you can change plans from October 15 to December 7.
“I'm a permanent resident, am I eligible?”
Generally yes, after 5 years of continuous US residence with your Green Card. With a temporary visa, it's rarely the case. We check your eligibility first.
“Do my years worked in France count?”
For your French Social Security retirement, sometimes, thanks to the French-American agreement. To get Part A without paying into it, it's your years worked in the US, or your spouse's, that count. We'll review your case.
“I'm still working and have my employer's insurance. Do I need to sign up for Medicare?”
Not always right away. Depending on your employer's size, you can sometimes delay Part B without a penalty. We check before you decide.
