Which insurers sell Marketplace plans in Broward for 2027?
Nine companies sell 2027 Obamacare (ACA) Marketplace plans in Broward County, according to Florida's Office of Insurance Regulation. They are Florida Blue, Florida Blue HMO, Oscar, UnitedHealthcare, Ambetter Health, Wellpoint, AvMed, AmeriHealth Caritas Next and 22 Health. Check hospitals closely: Memorial and Broward Health are out of Florida Blue's network.

Where the list comes from
The 2027 county table from Florida's Office of Insurance Regulation shows 9 companies on the Marketplace in Broward and 12 in total including off-Marketplace plans. Broward has one more than Miami-Dade: 22 Health, sold by Community Care Network. 22 Health sells only in Broward and is a division of Community Care Plan, owned by Broward Health and Memorial Healthcare System (22 Health). Cigna and Molina, which sold Florida Marketplace plans for 2026, are not on the state's 2027 table; Cigna is leaving the individual market in all its states (KFF).
The hospital question
Memorial Healthcare System has been out of Florida Blue's network since September 1, 2025, and Broward Health since July 1, 2025, with no deal announced as of November 2026 (Memorial, Broward Health). If you use Memorial Regional, Joe DiMaggio Children's, Memorial West, Broward Health Medical Center or their doctors, choose a plan that includes them. Emergency care is protected either way.
